As you will read, last month was an exciting one for Artizian and I am extremely proud of our achievement at the Health & Vitality Honours.

In life there is always a yin and a yang (according to a Chinese theory: yin is the passive, negative force, and yang the active, positive force) and the yin is very much the impact on crops across Europe and Kenya following recent natural disasters. We’ve all seen it in the news and our teams are working hard at finding alternatives as shortages will always hike prices until crops regrow, which in truth could take until June.

Maybe this is someone somewhere telling us that we’re just not getting the message and need to accept repetition of what is in season rather than recreate the variety we see across varying countries on our travels. At Artizian, we have always focused on monthly ‘Seasonal Sensations’ which is reflective of what is in season locally, however, we also provide the expected variety from other countries alongside. The next few months whilst the countries recover, may result in a lot of repetition, although the products will be the very best of what is in season and available at a reasonable price.
