Happy New Year, and I wish you lots of good health – as without this, anything else is quite honestly meaningless.
I start this year by confessing to having stopped making lots of New Year Resolutions a few years ago!!!!… but there are a few commitments I want to make to myself in 2018, and these are to:
- Eat vegetarian when visiting sites in January
- Follow Artizian’s Eat Well @Work Challenge ( a year of Small Changes = BIG IMPACT to health)
- Laugh more
- Start meetings with the sharing of an Intelligent Eating moment
Why?????…… well whether we like it or not, most of us have conversations about New Year resolutions, and even if we don’t, we often can’t help but wonder how a new year can be different or better somehow. Approximately 48% of us take the plunge and make a resolution – then feel fabulously energized, exhilarated, and even hopeful.
Yet January finds almost all of them failing? …the moment of commitment is perhaps too easy, and from experience, the hard part is keeping it. Thankfully, I have read that we all possess a hidden superpower that will supercharge our chances of success because it transforms the gruelling commitment process into something that’s not only easy—but fun and blissful! Our nervous system is reported to control one of the largest pharmacies on planet earth: the human body. There are ways to tap into its tremendous power, so its chemicals are working for us and not against us.
Clearly, I need to find this tap… and quickly!
Wishing you all a great 2018.
