Our Fish & Shellfish

Wherever possible our wild caught fish comes from either Marine Stewardship Council approved sources or (if farmed) have Global GAP or other certification. None of our fish is rated higher than 3 on the Marine Conservation Society’s fish to eat list. All our crustaceans and shellfish are from third party certified fisheries or farms that guarantee that what we serve is responsibly sourced.

All our accredited Fish and Shellfish carry the Artizian Brand Standard accreditation logo on our menus.

Our Meat

All raw meat purchased by Artizian is fully traceable, with a certified supply chain. Where practicable and possible, the product is sourced from the UK market place from Red Tractor licensed farms or farms who are members of EBLEX Farm Assured Scheme, Welfare Enhanced of Five Freedoms Standards. Artizian regularly reviews its supply chain and is mindful of legislation to ensure that it maintains its quality and welfare objectives. It is estimated that 80% of the raw meat purchased is from UK farms and this is targeted for sustainable increase over the coming 12 months.

All our accredited meat carries the Artizian Brand Standard accreditation logo on our menus.

Deliveries are made by suppliers, that pride themselves on sourcing as locally as possible to reduce food miles and local cheeses are back- hauled on route to further add to this.

Our Fresh Fruit & Vegetables

Our British produce is procured from approved suppliers who have met the strict farm assurance standards laid down by the assured food standards scheme, an industry wide initiative that addresses all the important issues concerning the production of produce.

The scheme promotes safe and environmental responsible production of fruit, salads and vegetables through the use of integrated crop management (ICM), a philosophy that recognises the need for crop production to be both economically and environmentally sustainable.

All our fruit and vegetables carry the Artizian Brand Standard accreditation logo on our menus, to represent Leaf, soil association, red tractor and fair-trade purchases.
